The public wifi networks provided through our South Taranaki libraries have been switched off to help minimize the risk of people congregating at central points.

So to help meet the needs of those in the community who do not have access to the Internet, the South Taranaki District Council is supporting a new service provided via Skinny Jump (Spark), whereby community members without an internet connection can call library staff who can assist them to set up an email address, register with Skinny Jump and receive a modem and internet connection at home.
