Wastewater overflow at Eltham Wastewater Treatment Plant

We advise that due to the recent sustained stormy weather, there is a wastewater overflow from the Eltham Wastewater Treatment pond to the Mangawhero stream which started this morning. There is expectation that this could continue up to a week.

Warning signs have been erected and testing will be conducted.
