Temporary Road Closures

This notice is to let you know that in accordance with the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, the South Taranaki District Council proposes to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic at the following times.

Egmont Street (SH3) Pātea (between Chester and Cambridge Streets)
Dorset Street Intersection, Pātea by the Public Toilets
Friday 6 December 2024 between 6pm to 7pm

Stanners Street, Eltham from outside Eltham Town Hall to Bridge Street
Bridge Street, Eltham (between Stanners Street to High Street South)
High Street South (SH3), Eltham (between Bridge Street to London Street)
London Street, Eltham (between High Street South to York Street)
York Street, Eltham (between London Street to Bridge Street)
Friday 6 December 2024 between 5pm to 8pm
Christmas Parades

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day. Alternative routes will be available and signposted.
