Tāngāhoe Valley Road Closed

Due to several significant slips the Tangahoe Valley Road is closed to all vehicles. Roading crews are on site assessing damage and clearing up however it will be at least 3 days before the road is passable. We will keep you updated on progress as more information comes to hand. At this point there are no other roads closed in the district, although this may change as slips are identified. As always after severe rain events, please drive with caution.
