Manaia Water Shutdown

This notice is to let you know that the water supply will be turned off on Saturday, 10 February,from 11. 00 pmto 1. 00 amat the following properties:

86-103 Manaia Road, 1-26 Tauhuri Street, 18-61 Karaka Street, Manaia and all parts of Manaia township may experience low pressure.

The shutdown is taking place to repair the water main entering Manaia.

Once work has been completed and the water has been turned back on, you might initially notice a bit of discolouration. If this is the case, we suggest you run the water from your cold tap for a short period until the water runs clear. If the water appears milky or cloudy, this is most likely just air bubbles in the water. This will clear if you leave your water to stand for a few minutes.
