Change of ownership

If you sell your property, your solicitor will need to send us a Change of Ownership notice within 30 days of settlement.

If the ownership of the property has changed (due to divorce, separation, death or a change in business arrangements), please ask your solicitor to advise us of these changes.

Change of circumstances

If you have changed your name due to marriage please contact your Lawyer or Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) as the certificate of title needs to be updated.

In the event of a deceased partner a solicitor will need to advise the Council of the details.

Change of address

You can change your address by either:

Any request for changes to your postal address must include your property number, full name, change of address details and a contact phone number.
