Roads closed due to slips

Rawhitiroa Road is now open again.

Tāngāhoe Valley Road is now open to traffic. There is still a lot of debris over the road, so would prefer only locals/residents using the road for now.

After the stormy conditions yesterday, there are a couple of roads closed due to slips or blockages.

• Rawhitiroa Road is closed from the 30km mark,
• Waitotara Valley Road closed is closed from the 12km mark
• Tāngāhoe Valley Road from the 6km mark.

Crews are on site at each of these locations and hope to have the roads open later on this afternoon.
