South Taranaki District Council provides quality, safe and affordable fun for the whole family through providing the Hāwera Aquatic Centre and six free community summer pools throughout the district.

We’re proud to provide our community and visitors with a range of aquatic services – whether you’re a serious competitive swimmer, looking for a way to entertain the kids, you need to cool down in the hot summer months or striving to achieve some personal health and well-being goals.

We are dedicated to promoting health, recreation and rehabilitation through swimming and water activities.
