Calling all South Taranaki Artists
The South Taranaki District Council is calling for visual art submissions from South Taranaki artists for lease and display in the Council’s Administration Building in Hāwera.
The Art Lease Programme was established in 1996 to support and nurture our creative community.
The foyer gallery enables us to showcase a selection of work from our talented artists and offer their work for sale with no commission taken.
To qualify for the Art Lease Programme, artists must reside within the South Taranaki District boundaries. Selected artists are paid a fee of $150 for a year lease, which is paid in November. Please note: Only wall hanging artworks are eligible.
To submit artworks (up to 4 per artist), please include this information:
- Your name, address, phone number and email address.
- A clear photograph or scan of the artwork(s). Digital files at least 1 MB file size, please.
- Title, dimensions, medium and date of each artwork.
