Celebrating International Day of the Older Person

“Movie Morning” is an event coming up on Friday 30 September to celebrate International Day of the Older Person and will be an opportunity to connect with and show our appreciation to our elderly people within our communities.

This event is being organised by the South Taranaki District Council and we will be screening the movie Calendar Girls starring Helen Mirren and Julie Walters. This fun, quirky movie is sure to be a hoot.

This event runs from 9am until 12noon at the Hawera A/G Church (formerly known as the Regent Theatre). A hot cuppa will be offered on arrival followed by an ice-cream and lollies.
