There’s no reason for the kids to tell you they are bored these school holidays, especially if you’ve got the latest edition of the South Taranaki Happening Holiday programme.
Happening Holidays is the South Taranaki District Council’s holiday programme booklet - a convenient one stop shop, packed with information about the various holiday activities happening across the District.
Happening Holidays covers all activities happening at the seven LibraryPlus centres, Hāwera Aquatic Centre and community activities. The range of activities is huge, from Taranaki Rugby Ferdie Skills Sessions, creating candles and soap, roller skating, clay making, trap building, bowling, movies and so much more.
Council’s Events Co-ordinator Emma Vennell says there is something for everyone these school holidays with over 40 different activities on offer.
“Happening Holidays is a quick and convenient guide to a whole range of activities for the kids – and once again packed full of exciting activities for children throughout South Taranaki,” she says.
Parents are reminded that registrations and/or permission slips are still required for the for most activities, this is outlined on the programme. Bookings will be taken at the Taranaki ki te Tonga South Taranaki isite and at your local LibraryPlus. Some activities have limited spaces so get in quick and don’t miss out.
