Celebrate International Day of the Older Person

Council is hosting a free Movie Morning to celebrate International Day of the Older Person.

"This will be an opportunity to connect with and show appreciation of elderly people within our communities," says Council's Community Development Manager Ella Borrows.

On Thursday 28 September at Everybody’s Theatre in Ōpunakē from 9.30am, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, starring Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith, will be screened followed by a hot cuppa, ice cream and lollies.
