The big screen is back!

Movies in the Park is back again for another year!

Enjoy the end of the school holidays by heading getting the whanau together, shaking out a blanket, putting a picnic together and heading TSB Hub on Saturday 27 January, or Soldier's Park in Eltham on Sunday 28 January to catch some of your favourite movies for free.

Cars and The Greatest Showman were the movies chosen after a public vote on the South Taranaki District Council's facebook page.

"We are delighted to be able to bring two family favourites to Hāwera and Eltham this summer," says South Taranaki District Council Events Co-ordinator Ella Tosland. "Make the most of the facilities in the area too with the pools just next door."

Cars (G) will screen at 4pm, The Greatest Showman (PG) will screen at 6pm. Please note that times are approximate.

Movies in the Park is part of the South Taranaki District Council’s annual summer events programme where we host a range of family-friendly, free events for our communities.
