Temporary Road Closures

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for power works for the periods indicated hereunder.

Princes Street, Hāwera (from State Highway 3 for approximately 300m)
East bound lane only
12 and 13 February 2025
8am to 5pm

Ararata Road, Hāwera (from Ohangai Road for approximately 300m)
From 8am Tuesday 11 February 2025 to 5pm Thursday 13 February 2025
Resident access via Ngawhini Road
and
Ohangai Road, Hāwera (from Ararata Road for approximately 300m north-west)
From 8am Wednesday 19 February 2025 to 5pm Thursday 20 February 2025
Resident access via Turuturu Road

Entry into Milmoe Street, Hāwera from State Highway 3 (one lane only)
14 February 2025
8am to 5pm
Resident access via Furlong Street

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day.
