Temporary Road Closures

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic at the periods indicated hereunder.

Princes Street, Hāwera (between High and Nelson Streets)
Sunday 2 March 2025 8pm to 3am
Monday 3 March 2025 7pm to 3am
Manhole installation

High Street, Hāwera – south bound lane only
(between Princes Street and Regent Street)
From 8am Monday 3 March 2025 to 5pm Friday 7 March 2025
Building repairs

Upper Parihaka Road, Parihaka (between Upper Kahui and Wiremu Roads)
From 8am Monday 3 March 2025 to 5pm Friday 7 March 2025
Bridge painting

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of these roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinator on-site, on the day.
