Health Warning Kaūpokonui River and in the Waingongoro River at Ohawe

Amounts of potentially toxic cyanobacteria have been found in the Kaūpokonui River at the beach domain and in the Waingongoro River at Ohawe. Cyanobacteria, a naturally occurring algae, can cause serious illness in humans and animals. We advise you avoid swimming or letting pets enter the water.

Roading bylaw section 9.4

The South Taranaki District Council removed a Mitsubishi Pajero from outside Hāwera Police Station on 17 September 2024.

The last registered person is Robin Poi from 34a Atherfold Crescent, Napier.

If the vehicle is not claimed and all fees paid by 6 February 2025, it will be sold or otherwise disposed of.
