The South Taranaki District Council (STDC) is bringing Roadhouse to Ōpunakē Beach on Saturday 18 January 2020 from 1.00pm.
It won’t only be the water keeping things chill at Ōpunakē this summer, as the melodious tunes of New Plymouth based band Roadhouse, willplay lazily along the beach. The band has played together on and off for 25 years, performing around Taranaki, but they particularly love playing out at the coast.
“It is exciting to get Roadhouse to perform at this event,” says Community Events Co-ordinator Hayley Old. “Roadhouse are a polished group of musicians who have a passion for entertaining. They play a variety of covers from a range of genres including reggae, pop, soul and rock – so there is bound to be something for everyone.”
“Pack a picnic, or grab some food from the campsite shop, and bring the whole family down to make an afternoon of it,” she says.
This free community event is proudly bought to you by the South Taranaki District Council.
