Summer is at its best – and what better way is there than to spend a Sunday afternoon, than relaxing in the park watching movies?
Three family-friendly movies will be playing on the TSB Super-screen at Eltham’s Soldiers Memorial Park on Sunday 2 February and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy.
The movies kick off at 12.30pm with The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (PG), followed by The Lion King (PG) at 2.30pm and the last movie for the day at 4.40pm will be Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (PG). Please note movie times are an approximate only.
The free rural swimming pool will also be open from 12 noon and don't forget the kids can make use of the nearby playground and skate park. Bring a picnic or grab a little something from one of the food vendors in the park.
“This event is always well supported,” says Hayley Old, Council's Community Events Co-ordinator. “This is a great opportunity to have a family day out in the fresh air before school goes back, while enjoying some great movies on offer on the TSB super-screen at Soldiers Park, Eltham.”
“Please remember to bring sunscreen, water and a sun umbrella as this venue has very little shade” reminds Hayley.
