Health Warnings lifted for Ōhawe Beach and Kaupokonui

South Taranaki District Council (STDC) regulatory services manager, Chantelle Denton, says the health warnings for Ōhawe Beach and Kaupokonui, have been lifted.

Testing by the Taranaki Regional Council has found that levels of Escherichia coli (E.coli) and Enterococci have returned to normal and the warning signs have been removed.
