Temporary Road Closures (April - July)

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for Northpower to undertake Powerpole Upgrades for the periods indicated hereunder.

Kina Road, Oaonui
(between Wiremu Road to approx. House No 504)

Set closure days
11 to 14 April 2023
9, 11, 16, 18, 25 and 31 May 2023
6, 15, 22 and 30 June 2023
4, 6 and 10 July 2023
Or following days thereafter
8am to 5pm

From 17 April to 3 May 2023 road closures will be required – dates not confirmed.

Emergency and resident access via SH45

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use this road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day.
