The Happening Holidays Programme is out now

South Taranaki District Council is thrilled to announce the latest edition of the Happening Holidays programme, packed with a wide array of exciting activities for everyone to enjoy, is out now.

Happening Holidays is your go-to guide for all the school holiday activities happening across the District. This comprehensive programme includes events at each of the seven LibraryPlus centres, Hāwera Aquatic Centre, TSB Hub and various community locations.

There is a great range of activities; from water play at the Hāwera Aquatic Centre and Taranaki Rugby Skills Sessions to tennis and skating lessons, arts and crafts, Easter-themed scavenger hunts, cupcake decorating, movie magic, a fun puppet show, the annual Big Day Out and much more.

Council’s Events Co-ordinator Alysha Judson says there is something for everyone, and we hope the community gets involved and enjoys the activities on offer.

Parents, please note that registrations and/or permission slips are required for some activities, as outlined in the programme. Bookings can be made at the South Taranaki isite Visitor Centre | Whare Whakamōhio Manuhiri o Taranaki ki te Tonga, now located inside the Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga building on High Street.

Some activities have limited spaces, so be sure to register early to avoid missing out.
