Closure of Roads to Ordinary Vehicular Traffic

This notice is to let you know that in accordance with the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965 the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic at the following times.

During the periods of closure, the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road – “in the event of a situation necessitating the use of the road, contact must be made with the ‘Organisers’ on site on the day’.

Ngāwhini Road, Hāwera
Saturday 20 February 2021 between 7.30am to 5.30pm

Beach Road, Ōpunakē

High Street, Hāwera (from Caledonia to Argyle Streets)
Union Street, Hāwera (from Countdown entrance to High Street)
Regent Street, Hāwera (from Little Regent to High Streets)
Albion Street, Hāwera (from Rowe Street to Community Centre Carpark)
Friday 26 February 2021 between 11am to 6pm
AmeriCARna - Hāwera

Under the above regulations it is an offence for anyone to use these roads for ordinary vehicle traffic during the period of closure.
