Low Water Pressure, Hāwera, Normanby and Ōhawe

Residents in Hāwera, Normanby and Ōhawe may experience some low water pressure this afternoon. A main water pipe into Hawera has burst and needs repairing. We are supplying water from the reservoir while repairs are taking place, which may result in reduced water pressure. Repairs should be complete around 3pm, however when the mains are switched back on the restored pressure may cause a little bit of discolouration. If this occurs, please run your cold tap for a few minutes until the water clears. If it doesn’t clear after 10 minutes call us on 278 0555. Thanks, STDC.
