Hāwera LibraryPlus, isite and AA services are temporarily closed as they move into their new home. These services will be open again from 1pm on Monday 25 November at the new building, Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga, on the corners of High and Regent streets, Hāwera.

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Hadfield and Elizabeth Streets, Pātea
From Wednesday 25 October 2023 to 18 November 2023
8am to 5pm
Footpath Installation

Nukumaru Station Road, Waitotara
(from approx.. 850m from SH3 to Railway Line)
From Tuesday 24 October 2023 to Friday 27 October 2023
8am to 5pm
Road Construction

Emergency and resident access only

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

In all other situations necessitating the use of these roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day.
