Temporary Road Closure - November

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following roads will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Princes Street, Hāwera (between High and Napier Streets)
Sunday 19 November 2023, 7am to 10am
Road Repairs

Eltham:
Preston Place,
Railway Street (between Bridge and London Streets)
London Street (between SH3 and York Street),
York Street (between London Street and Conway Road)
Cornwall Street (between Bridge and Whiting Streets),
Stanners Street (between Bridge and George Streets),
Bath, Tayler and Mabey Streets

Resealing - Closures should be no longer than 4 hours – weather dependant
Emergency and resident access will be made available.
Starting 20 November 2023

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day. Alternative routes will be available and signposted.
