Water Shutdown Notice - Normanby

The water supply will be turned off on Thursday, 23 November, from 11:00pm to 3:00am to all connections in Normanby.

The shutdown is taking place to test the network for water leaks, by isolating different areas of the town individually.

Once work has been completed and the water has been turned back on, you might initially notice a bit of discolouration. If this is the case, we suggest you run the water from your cold tap for a short period until the water runs clear. If the water appears milky or cloudy, this is most likely just air bubbles in the water. This will clear if you leave your water to stand for a few minutes.
