Temporary Road Closure - Glasgow Street, Hāwera

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following road will be closed to ordinary traffic for road shoulder widening for the periods indicated hereunder.

Glasgow Street, Hāwera (between Tawhiti Road and Perth Street)

One lane closure only

Tuesday 2 April 2024 to Tuesday 23 April 2024

(Workdays only, 8am to 5pm)

Full lane closure

Wednesday 24 April 2024 to Saturday 27 April 2024

or next available days thereafter.

Detour via Galt and Perth Street.

Resident access available.

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use this road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the road, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on site, on the day.
