Temporary closure to the take of shellfish and other species

The temporary closure to the take of all shellfish (except rock lobster), all seaweed (except beach cast seaweed), all sea anemones, all stingrays, and conger eel species Conger wilsoni and Conger verreauxi from Western Taranaki came into effect on Monday, 16 December 2024. It will end on Tuesday, 15 December 2026.
