Reduced Water Pressure - Hawera, Normanby, Ohawe

Tonight (18 Feb, 8pm onwards) urgent repair work is being undertaken on one of the main water pipes which supplies water to Hawera, Normanby and Ohawe. While this work is being done water will be supplied using our Scott Street reservoir. This may result in you experiencing some reduced water pressure for a short period and possibly some discolouration once pressure has been restored. If you have any discolouration from the change in pressure, please run the water from your cold tap for a short period until the water runs clear. If the water appears milky or cloudy this is most likely just air bubbles in the water. This will clear if you leave your water to stand a few minutes.
