ANZAC Day Services

Alton	11am: Service at the Alton Memorial Bring a plate for a shared lunch afterwards in the Hall.
Ararata	9.30am: Service at Ararata War Memorial, opposite Ararata Hall.
Cape Egmont	1pm: Wreath laying ceremony – Cape Egmont Boat Club, Bayly Road, Warea.
Eltham	8.45am: Assemble at the Eltham Fire Station 9am: Service - War Memorial Gates, Conway Road followed immediately by the RSA Commemorative Service at the Services Cemetery, Anderson Road.
Eltham Cemetery	9.30am: RSA Commemorative Service at the Eltham Cemetery, Anderson Road.
Hāwera	6.15am: Assemble at Ngati Ruanui, Princes Street, Hāwera 6.30am: Service- Memorial Arch, Princes Street Morning tea will be served at the RSA at the conclusion of the service.
Kaponga	10.15am: Assemble at the Kaponga Hotel, march to the Memorial Hall at 10:30 am 10.45am: Service at the Memorial Hall/Cenotaph.
Manaia	6.15am: Assemble at the Manaia Bowling Club Riemenschneider Street. March to band Rotunda/Cenotaph. 6.30am: Service Cenotaph Refreshments will be served at the Bowling Club at the conclusion of the service.
Ōpunakē	6am: Assemble at the Ōpunakē Town Hall and march to the Cenotaph. 6.10am: Service at the Cenotaph. 8am: Ōpunakē Services Cemetery Refreshments will be served at the Ōpunakē Town Hall at the conclusion of the service.
Otakeho	6pm: Small service will be held at the Otakeho Hall on the 24 April
Pātea	6.20am: Assemble on Chester Street by the Pātea Library 6.30am: Parade falls into a march from Chester Street to the Cenotaph (Memorial) A cup of tea will be served at the Old Folks Hall at the conclusion of the service.
Pihama Cenotaph	5.30pm: Service at Pihama Cenotaph (Lizzy Bell)
Rawhitiroa Memorial Wall	11.15am: Assemble at the Rawhitiroa Pool Gates and Memorial Wall 11.30am: Service at Rawhitiroa Pool Gates and Memorial Wall
Te Kiri	10.45am: Service at Te Kiri Cenotaph
Waitōtara	11am: Wreath laying ceremony- Waitōtara Memorial Gates, Waitōtara Domain. Refreshments at the Waitotara Hall after the wreath laying.
Waverley	8.45am: Parade Assemble outside Waverley Community Centre 9am: Service - Waverley Community Centre - then march to the town clock to lay the wreath. Refreshments to follow at the Community Centre.

See below for the opening hours for Council facilities during ANZAC Day, Friday 25 April. Just a note that your Rubbish and Recycling Kerbside collection will continue as per normal.

All libraries close at the normal closing time Thursday 24 April, and will reopen normal opening time on Saturday 26 April.

Open 1pm - 6pm on Friday 25 April.

Transfer Stations - Friday 25 April

Hāwera Transfer Station - 12.30pm - 5pm
All other transfer stations will be closed.

South Taranaki I-SITE Visitor Information Centre

Open 10am to 3pm on Friday 25 April.

Aotea Utanganui - Museum of South Taranaki

Closed on ANZAC Day.
