Council Services and Facilities at Level 2
Following the Government’s announcement last night that Auckland will shift to Alert Level Three for 72 hours (from 11.59 pm on Sunday 14 February 2021), and the rest of the country will shift to Alert Level Two, there will be some changes to the way we operate as we comply with public health measures.
This means;
- All facilities remain open (except for our community pools which will be closed, and the Hāwera Aquatic Centre which will be open for lane swimming and structured programmes only).
- All kerbside rubbish and recycling collections continue on normal collection day.
- Some programmes will be put on hold.
- Please keep at least 2 metres apart from people not in your bubble.
- We must collect visitor details for contact tracing.
- We will continue to encourage contactless payments.
- Please stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
- There will be limits on the number of visitors allowed in our facilities at any one time to meet physical distancing requirements.
