Community Family Fun Day in Eltham

Catch the Family Fun Fever!

Are the kids needing some fun activities to keep them busy these school holidays? How about joining us at Soldiers Park in Eltham on Saturday 18 January for a Community Family Fun Day.

Bring a picnic and find a pozzi in the park or have a look at what some of our delicious food vendors have on offer, sit back and enjoy the sun with whanau and friends.

This event is kicking off at 10am and running until 3pm. Pop in to see some local talent, find a bargain with some of our stall holders, enjoy an ice-cream to cool down and catch our local fire fighters in full demonstration and much more - there is something for all!

South Taranaki District Council Event Co-ordinator Alysha Judson says that the Eltham-Kaponga Community Board were keen to try something different in Eltham this year, instead of the annual Movies in the Park.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to have a relaxing family day out, enjoy the facilities that Eltham has to offer, while enjoying some great local community spirit that South Taranaki is famous for!” says Alysha.
