Temporary Road Closure

This notice is to let you know that in accordance with the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, the South Taranaki District Council proposes to close the following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic to hold annual Anzac Parades at the following times.

Hāwera
Princes Street (between High and Nelson Streets)
between 5.30am and 7.30am

Eltham
London Street (between SH3 and York Street)
York Street (between London Street and Conway Road)
Conway Road (between York Street and SH3)
between 8.30am to 10am

High Street (between London Street and Conway Road)
between 9.30am to 10am

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closures. In all other situations necessitating the use of these roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management co-Ordinator on-site, on the day. Alternative routes will be available and signposted.
