Temporary Closure of Road to Vehicular Traffic (18 March)

This notice is to let you know that in accordance with the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, the South Taranaki District Council proposes to close the following road for a Community Open Day to ordinary vehicular traffic at the following time.

Surrey Street, Hāwera (between Argyle and Wilson Streets)
Saturday 18 March 2023 between 10.30am and 3pm

It will be an offence under the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use this road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the roads, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day. Alternative routes will be available and signposted.
