Hāwera LibraryPlus, isite and AA services are temporarily closed as they move into their new home. These services will be open again from 1pm on Monday 25 November at the new building, Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga, on the corners of High and Regent streets, Hāwera.

In accordance with Section 342 of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated hereunder.

Dixon Avenue, Hāwera (between Vogel Street and Grant VC Street)

Monday 20 May 2024, 8am to 5pm

Tree Trimming

Morrissey Street, Hāwera (between Argyle Street and State Highway 3)

Wednesday 22 May 2024, 8am to 5pm

Tree Trimming

Milmoe Street, Hāwera (northbound lane closed) (between Furlong Street and State Highway 3)

Friday 24 May 2024, 8am to 5pm

Emergency and resident access only.

It will be an offence under the above the above Act for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised period to use this road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.

In all other situations necessitating the use of the road, contact must be made with the site traffic management coordinators on-site, on the day.
