Access your account online

You can access your library account online via the computers in the library or your own device at home. The barcode on library card is your account log-in; all you need is a password. Next time you're in a library, come to the desk with your library card and we'll issue you a password.

Using your log-in and password you can review the items you have on loan, renew items and reserve items that you would like to borrow in the future. You can also view your borrowing history and update your personal details.

If you forget your password at any time, just come back to the counter, with your card or other ID and we can reset it.

Join the Library

Joining a South Taranaki Library is free to all local residents and residents of neighbouring districts. Simply visit a South Taranaki LibraryPlus and ask one of our staff to join you up.

Conditions of membership

In accepting your new library card, you agree to abide by the Policies of South Taranaki District Libraries, including:

Return all items by the due date
Pay for overdue, damaged or lost items
Advise the library of any change of address
Acknowledge the same responsibilities for any child you have registered or stood guarantor for.
